On Friday, May 17 (graduation eve), Central Catholic held its annual tradition of bestowing awards and recognition on Seniors at Senior Breakfast. Held at the Petroleum Club in Morgan City, Senior Breakfast was attended by Seniors and their families. Also in attendance were Central Catholic Grades 6 to 12 Principal, Pete Boudreaux, Senior Class Advisor, Mrs. Constance Wallace, School Counselor, Mrs. Karen Tycer, Athletic Director, Ree Case and various award and scholarship presenters.
Senior Breakfast Awards include academic award such as Valedictorian Awards and Honor Graduate awards as well as Athletic Awards. Awards that recognize students for outstanding moral character , citizenship, service and Catholic Christian discipleship were also awarded.
This year, select Seniors were awarded scholarships from many local foundations and organizations including East St. Mary Kiwanis, Miles Liner Foundation, H & B Young Foundation, MC Bank, and the Atchafalaya Lodge Fraternal Order of Police. These scholarships were the final presentations of the morning.
Congratulations to the award and scholarship recipients and to all members of the Class of 2024. Job well done!

Vitalant would like to recognize and celebrate high school donors and their service to the community through blood donation. Seniors qualifying for this cord at minimum had to donate blood two times within their senior year.

In 2009, KWBJ TV Station in Morgan City created a new award to showcase those seniors who have continuously exemplified a positive attitude while contributing their time and talents during their career at Central Catholic High School.

THE LOUIS J “BILLY” ADAMS MEMORIAL AWARD was instituted by the late Mr. L.T. Ozio and Mrs. Ozio. It is presented annually to the graduating senior who has exemplified high Christian Catholic principles, has performed outstanding service to the school and fellow students, and has excelled in the quality of dependability.

National Honor Society Members

Ava Claire Calais was offered an athletic scholarship in both volleyball and track and field at Spring Hill College.
Ava Claire Calais was offered an athletic scholarship for track at the University of South Alabama.
Ava Claire Calais was offered the Catholic High School Academic Scholarship at Christian Brothers University.
