Tampa Catholic High School

ADMISSIONS

An education at Central Catholic is available to all qualified students, 3-years-old through twelfth grade. Central Catholic admits students of any race, color, sex, creed and national/ethnic origin. Central Catholic does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, creed or national/ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies, admission policies, tuition reduction, athletics/co-curriculars, or any other school administered programs.

Prospective students must reside with their parents or legal guardian(s) and must be interviewed by the principal. The school reserves the right to test any student applying for admission to the school. Parents are required to share results of any evaluation of the student with the school. Central Catholic admits students whom the school discerns will adhere to the philosophy and mission of the school. In admitting students, those who are Catholic, siblings of current Central Catholic students, and children of alumni are given priority of admission over non-Catholics with no Catholic school affiliation. If a student leaves for any reason, readmission is contingent on available space.

For entrance into the three-year-old program, a child must be three years old by September 30 of the current year.

For entrance into the four-year-old program, a child must be four years old by September 30 of the present year.

Acceptance of any student is based on admission policy, space available, a review of record from the previous school attended, completion of required health forms, and an student/parent interview with the principal.

ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITIES

Central Catholic is committed to providing a holistic, high-quality, Catholic education to all students. High priority is given to those families who have supported Catholic schools and great care is given to ensure that the school does not become available only to the social, academic, or athletic elite. Central Catholic offers financial aid based on need using an in-house budget and donor contributions.

Families must complete the Central Catholic online registration process to apply for financial aid (including payment of registration fee.)

FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment conducts the need analysis for Central Catholic. The process takes about twenty minutes to complete and there is a $40 (approximate) application fee. All supporting documentation must be uploaded and application status should read completed by the deadline in order to be considered for financial aid.
